Connecticut
The flag of Connecticut, known as the "Connecticut State Flag," features a historic and elegant design. It consists of a royal blue field symbolizing loyalty and justice. In the center of the flag is a white baroque shield, adorned with three grapevines, each bearing three bunches of purple grapes. These grapevines represent the early English settlements and the state's agricultural history. Below the shield is a white ribbon with the Latin motto "Qui Transtulit Sustinet," meaning "He Who Transplanted Still Sustains," reflecting the perseverance and enduring spirit of the state. The flag was officially adopted on September 9, 1897, and it captures the rich history and steadfast values of Connecticut.
