Alaska State USA Flag
The flag of Alaska, known as the "Alaskan State Flag," features a simple yet meaningful design. It consists of a dark blue field representing the sky and the forget-me-not flower, Alaska's state flower. On this field, there are eight gold stars forming the Big Dipper constellation, which symbolizes a bear, an animal indigenous to Alaska, and a larger star representing the North Star, symbolizing Alaska's northern location. This design was created by a thirteen-year-old, Benny Benson, and was officially adopted in 1927. The flag embodies the natural beauty and frontier spirit of Alaska.
